Job Description:

• Responds to and participates in stroke alert events to support the clinical team and completes follow-up calls to determine patient outcomes and provide additional education and support.
• Serves as the stroke program clinical content expert, utilizing skilled knowledge of clinical stroke evidence-based guidelines, national accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Leads the stroke interdisciplinary committee(s) in partnership with the stroke medical director to improve clinical performance, standardize processes, and ensure compliance with accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Identifies variations in care and leads the development of corrective action plans to improve performance.
• Leads mortality and morbidity committee reviews to identify clinical opportunities for improving outcomes.

Bachelor's of Nursing (Required), Master'sAdvanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Change Management Certification (PROSCI) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Lean Bronze Certification - Accredited Issuing Body, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Nurse (RN) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Six Sigma - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$76,470.15 - $142,245.91
