Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position located in Sandlake ED Orlando, FL, for a CT Technologist. The CT Technologist will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using advanced CT equipment, ensuring image quality and patient safety. Daily tasks will include preparing patients for procedures, operating CT scanners, maintaining equipment, adhering to safety guidelines, documenting procedures, and assisting physicians in diagnostic imaging. The role also involves providing compassionate care and communication to patients throughout their experience.
Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in operating and maintaining CT imaging equipment
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic imaging procedures and analyzing results
- Understanding of safety practices and radiation safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and medical staff effectively
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness in performing imaging processes
- Valid and current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification or equivalent
- State licensure in radiologic technology as per regulatory requirements
- Up-to-date Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting and familiarity with electronic health records is a plus
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively in a team
