- Promotes a supportive environment for academic partnership by ensuring appropriate student placement and a positive experience.
- Maintains clinical skills as outlined, including completing timely assessments, setting goals, and applying nursing knowledge.
- Teaches students during their clinical rounds, and pre/post conferences.
- Supports and enforces the course syllabus in collaboration with the course coordinator.
- Develops, designs, and delivers instruction in collaboration with the course coordinator.

Work Experience:
- 2 years of professional experience in the discipline(s) being taught (Labor and Delivery) [Preferred]
- Previous preceptor experience [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Required]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Required]
