Job Description:

• Uses non-invasive procedures to examine heart valves, chambers, and blood vessels to produce echocardiograms (ECGs).
• Prepares facilities in accordance with procedural requirements and calibrates equipment as required by the institution.
• Provides images, data analysis, and patient information to the physician for diagnostic interpretation.
• Uses good judgment to determine if the procedure was sufficient for proper diagnoses or if additional imaging procedures are needed.
• Prepares patients for echocardiography procedures, positions patients as appropriate for prescribed procedures, and assists patients at the completion of procedures.

Associate (Required)Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement, Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body, Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Pay Range:

$15.00 - $130.00
