Talent Acquisition Specialist

Advent Talent Group is seeking a Temporary Talent Acquisition Specialist for a local downtown Minneapolis company to partner closely with the existing recruiter and provide hands-on recruiting support during a period of increased hiring volume and organizational change.

Start: Immediate

Contract Length: 6 weeks

Work Location: Hybrid (Minneapolis, MN)

Hours: Full-time | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM

Compensation: $39.50 - $41.00/hour

Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on recruiting support for multi‑location retail hiring initiatives, ensuring consistency, efficiency, and adherence to established processes
• Manage and maintain job postings for assigned requisitions
• Conduct resume screening, sourcing, and phone screenings using established scripts, templates, and documented processes
• Maintain accurate sourcing and screening documentation and share qualified candidate summaries with the internal recruiter for submission
• Deliver a positive, professional, and consistent candidate experience
• Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the applicant tracking system

Qualifications

• 3 years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, including intake through offer, in a high‑volume or fast‑paced environment, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent requisitions and partner closely with hiring leaders
• 2 years of experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS); experience with Oracle is helpful but not required
• Comfortable working within structured, well‑documented recruiting processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and follow‑through
