Advent Talent Group is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Temporary Program Coordinator to support a large-scale environmental grant program within a non-profit in Minneapolis, MN. This role will provide administrative, project coordination, and reporting support for a federally funded initiative, ensuring that grant-related documentation, reporting requirements, and stakeholder communications are completed accurately and on schedule.


This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys managing multiple deadlines, working with complex documentation, and supporting mission-driven work. The ideal candidate is proactive, process-oriented, and comfortable balancing a high volume of administrative and project coordination responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.


Overview:

Location: Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)

Schedule: 20–37.5 hours per week, based on workload and business needs

Duration: Contract | August 2026 – November/December 2026

Pay: $30.00–$35.00/hour


Responsibilities

  • Track and manage multiple projects, reporting requirements, and critical deadlines.
  • Process and coordinate quarterly, closeout, and compliance-related reports submitted by grant recipients.
  • Transfer information between systems and documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Support the onboarding, submission, review, and approval process for new grant recipients.
  • Track workplans, compliance documentation, and required program forms through various stages of review.
  • Maintain organized records, project trackers, and status updates for internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate with grant recipients regarding documentation requirements, deadlines, and follow-up needs.
  • Schedule meetings, take detailed notes, distribute summaries, and manage action-item follow-up.
  • Support data management and reporting activities within CRM and project management platforms.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.


Qualifications

  • 2 years of experience in program coordination, project coordination, grants administration, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage high-volume work and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with CRM, project management, or document workflow systems; Salesforce experience is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a distributed team.
  • Strong customer service mindset and professionalism when working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes.
  • Interest in mission-driven, nonprofit, government-funded, or community-focused work.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting grant-funded programs, nonprofit organizations, regulatory reporting, compliance processes, or government-funded initiatives.
  • Familiarity with document management, reporting workflows, and process tracking.
  • Exposure to federal grants, environmental programs, or compliance-related work is helpful but not required.
