This position oversees excavation and grading projects from pre-construction through closeout, managing schedules, budgets, job costs, and field coordination to deliver high-quality work for commercial and large-scale developments. - Base salary $100,000 – $130,000 depending on experience, with performance-based bonus opportunity

- Full-time, on-site at projects in the Omaha, NE / Council Bluffs, IA metro area
Responsibilities
- Manage site preparation and earthwork projects from startup to closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, and field teams
- Review plans, specifications, and scope of work
- Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
- Track job costs, production rates, and change orders
- Communicate with owners, general contractors, inspectors, and field staff
- Ensure safe operations and OSHA compliance
- Conduct site visits and progress meetings
- Resolve field issues efficiently
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, Construction Management (preferred, not required)
- 3 years project management or project engineer experience in grading, excavation, utilities, or site development
- Strong understanding of earthwork operations, quantities, and production
- Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications
- Experience with scheduling, budgeting, cost tracking, and estimating
- Proficient with Excel and construction software
- Strong organizational and communication skills
