Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Financials Accounts Payable Functional Consultant / AP & Expense Lead to lead the design, implementation, and support of Accounts Payable (AP) and Expense Management processes. The ideal candidate will have extensive Oracle Financials implementation experience, 

including at least three full-cycle implementations, with a minimum of one Oracle Fusion implementation. 

Public Sector experience is mandatory, while experience supporting a transit agency is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead functional design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable and Expense Management solutions.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications and system configurations.
• Lead end-to-end AP and Expense Management workstreams across the implementation lifecycle.
• Configure and support key AP processes, including:
  • Supplier and invoice management
  • Invoice validation and approval workflows
  • Payments and payment processing
  • Expense reporting and reimbursements
  • Accounting and integration requirements
• Partner with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to ensure successful solution delivery.
• Conduct fit-gap analysis and recommend process improvements aligned with Oracle Fusion best practices.
• Support system integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), data validation, cutover, and go-live activities.
• Provide functional leadership and guidance to project team members and business users.
• Support post-production stabilization and resolve functional issues as needed.
• Travel onsite to Alexandria, VA approximately 50% of the time.

Required Qualifications

• 10 years of experience as an Oracle Financials Functional Consultant, preferably with strong specialization in Accounts Payable and Expense Management.
• Minimum of 3 full-cycle Oracle Financials implementations.
• At least 1 full-scale Oracle Fusion Financials implementation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Accounts Payable (AP) and Oracle Fusion Expenses.
• Mandatory experience supporting Public Sector organizations.
• Strong understanding of AP business processes, financial controls, approval workflows, payments, and expense management.
• Experience with requirements gathering, configuration, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.

Salary : $85 - $90
