Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist for a short-term assignment in the San Fernando Valley. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws. This is a temporary role, expected to last up to 4 weeks, offering up to $40 per hour.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all employees, including calculating hours, overtime, and deductions.
- Review and verify timecards, attendance records, and payroll data for accuracy.
- Prepare and distribute payroll reports and summaries for management review.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Address payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Maintain confidentiality of employee payroll information.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in payroll processing and administration.
