Chief Operating Officer (COO) | Food Manufacturing | Fresno, CA
Direct Hire | On-site Role
Our client is looking for an experienced COO to lead operations at a 300,000 sq. ft. food manufacturing facility in Fresno, CA. This direct hire, on-site role is perfect for a strategic leader with a strong background in food manufacturing, operations management, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Develop and execute strategies aligned with company goals and financial targets.
- Operations: Oversee production lines (sauces, salsas, beverages) and ensure efficient processes.
- Supply Chain: Manage procurement, production planning, inventory, and logistics for on-time delivery.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and customer standards.
- Finance: Manage budgets, cost control, and capital expenditure, while optimizing performance.
- Team Development: Lead and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of safety and improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Food Science, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
- 10-20 years in leadership roles in food manufacturing.
- Proven experience in P&L management, food safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
