Overview:
We're partnering with a stable and growing Distribution/Wholesale company near South Gate seeking an
Accounting Manager
. This is a
temp-to-hire
role in a collaborative, friendly environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financials (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Ensure GAAP and tax compliance
- Lead annual audits and support external auditors
- Manage budgeting and forecasting
- Analyze budget vs. actuals and provide financial insights
- Oversee daily cash flow and banking relationships
- Maintain internal controls and financial procedures
- Supervise AR, AP, and general accounting staff
- Handle month-end and year-end closings
- Review credit memos, write-offs, and contract compliance
- Conduct variance and profitability analysis
- Support tax planning and accurate reporting
- Improve procure-to-pay workflows and train staff
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's in Accounting or related field
- Strong Excel and reporting tool skills
- Experience in distribution or wholesale required
- ERP experience preferred
- Must be comfortable working onsite
- Strong leadership and communication skills
Salary:
$100,000 – $120,000 (Depending on experience)
