This role will focus on accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash activity, and basic reconciliations. This position requires strong attention to detail, organization, and discretion when handling financial information.Key ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices and match to purchase ordersPrepare weekly check runs and mail paymentsAssist with Positive Pay processingCreate and send customer invoices for daily shipmentsReview invoices for accuracy against purchase ordersApply customer payments and process check depositsFollow up on past-due accounts by phone or emailReview daily bank balancesCommunicate with banks and credit card processors as neededTrack prepaid expensesMonitor inventory received but not yet invoicedAssist with AR prepayments and basic sales reportsProvide documentation and reports to the external CPAAssist with bank and subledger reconciliation supportQualificationsPrior accounting or bookkeeping experience preferredComfortable with AP and AR tasksStrong attention to detail and accuracyExperience with accounting software a plus PandoLogic.
