ATS has an exciting line of high-performance test systems that support the semiconductor industry around the world.
Advantest Test Solutions, Inc. (ATS) is looking for an outgoing product inspector to join our team in Lake Forest, CA. This individual will be directly contributing to our product shipping quality and conducting visual checks, production history checks on traveler or equivalents, maintaining inspection checklists for quality gate performance, and secure product traceability by recording these records in appropriate ways.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Quality inspections on PCBA based units, mechanical assemblies, Thermal unit assemblies, entire system level ATE (combination of electric units, mechanical units and thermal units)
- Conducting the first article quality check on those units.
- Inputting inspection results to online database without delay, mismatch
- Follows instructions not to deviate from standard work process
- Reporting timely any abnormalities in inspection results to line leader to receive instructions
- Securing necessary inspector certificates such as IPC-A-610, 620
- Take training assigned by line leader
- Follows 5S, ESD control, facility safety policies
- All other duties as required and assigned.
Qualifications:
Requirements, Education & Skills:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Certificate or experiences of inspector for IPC-A-610, 620 standards
- Understand material drawing call outs and requirements
- Knowledge in PCB/PCA production is preferred.
- Effective and open-minded communication skills.
- Can use basic features of Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Teams, Outlook).
- Motivated to improve your abilities in quality control area
- May be required to lift up to 35 pounds.
- This is a daily, onsite role at our Lake Forest, CA office.
