The Field Service Production Support Engineer (PSE) will be responsible for the coordination and execution of all daily customer field service-related activities. The successful candidate will have experience in both software and hardware.
Responsibilities include:
PSE Field service activities will include:
- Engineering apps/testing support activities
- Assist with customer NPI data collection
- System license management
- Re-image of workstations
- Lead customer improvement projects
- Collection and presentation service data
- Site preparation consultation
- On-site installation
- Repair down systems
- Customer training on maintenance procedures
- Work with factory to drive diagnostics improvements
Qualifications:
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or experience in a related field required
- Fluent in English
- Customer management experience
- Practical experience - supporting ATE equipment, Advantest 93K experience an advantage
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds without assistance and be able to bend into machinery without restrictions.
- Push or pull up to 200 lbs. of test equipment and tools using qualified cart or pallet jack.
- Transport parts or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. (assistance available when lifting item(s) over 50 lbs.).
- System repair/servicing requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting and occasionally working in unusual positions using full body mobility.
