What are the responsibilities and job description for the Materials Planner position at Advantage xPO?
Are you a results-driven individual, with strong organizational skills, and attention to detail? We're looking for a Materials Planner to support our premier client's finished good production and managing costs through development and sustainability of efficient supply chain strategies with vendors.
Pay: $25/hr.
Hybrid role - work onsite in Roswell, GA - 2 days/wk. Team usually in the office Tuesdays and Wednesdays
Work hours 7:00am-3:30pm or 8:00am-4:30pm Mon-Fri
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute material requirement plans to ensure timely availability of supplies and work-in-process for production schedules.
- Maintain and update accurate planning data in SAP and Kinaxis Rapid Response for finishing supplies.
- Manage supply changes to align with business plans while minimizing waste and obsolescence.
- Coordinate production timelines with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Operations, and Packaging.
- Collaborate with vendors to align schedules, set priorities, and prevent supply chain disruptions.
- Support special logistics projects and provide on-call assistance to production sites as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or related field required.
- Strong attention to detail, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Effective communicator with a results-driven mindset and trusted team relationships.
- Preferred experience includes SAP, Microsoft applications, and understanding of supply chain operations.
