Wastewater Treatment Operator - Keep Systems Flowing Smoothly!

A leading beverage manufacturing facility is seeking a Wastewater Treatment Operator to support daily operations and maintenance of their wastewater treatment and collection systems. Hours and Pay

Shift: 2nd Shift - Sunday through Thursday, 5:00 PM to 1:30 AM

Pay: $60,000-$80,000 (Competitive pay based on experience-plus 2nd shift differential)

What You'll Do

As a Wastewater Treatment Operator, you'll ensure environmental compliance, system performance, and operational excellence in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. You'll take ownership of wastewater processes, ensuring safety, efficiency, and adherence to company and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily operations, monitoring, and maintenance of wastewater treatment and collection systems.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, including Quality and Food Safety, GMPs, and Safety guidelines.
• Inspect and operate pumps, valves, tanks, and control systems to maintain proper wastewater flow and treatment levels.
• Record operational data, conduct tests, and adjust treatment processes as needed to ensure optimal performance.
• Identify and report equipment malfunctions, and perform routine preventive maintenance.
• Work independently and collaboratively to resolve issues while maintaining compliance with all regulations.
• Utilize computer systems for tracking performance, recording data, and reporting maintenance needs.

What You Bring

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Massachusetts Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator's License (Entry Level up to 3 years of experience).
• Previous related experience preferred, with knowledge of treatment principles, procedures, and equipment.
• Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills.
• Ability to work independently and adhere to safety and quality standards.
