Job Duties
- Operate and maintain wastewater treatment equipment, including flow-through, batch treatment, and filtration systems.
- Monitor treatment processes and conduct routine inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Perform hazardous waste sampling, recordkeeping, and data entry.
- Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate corrective actions as needed.
- Support environmental, safety, and emergency response programs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with production teams and management to ensure uninterrupted operations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Environmental Science, Wastewater Technology, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 6 months to 1 year of wastewater treatment, environmental, chemical handling, or related industrial experience.
- Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes, OSHA safety practices, and hazardous waste management.
- Basic computer and data entry skills required.
- Ability to work independently and safely in an industrial environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in confined spaces when required.
