Supply Planner
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, days TBD)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Contract Duration: 1 year - possible extension / possible temp to perm
Compensation: Up to $51/hour
Position Overview
The Supply Planner is responsible for managing the replenishment and deployment plan for a defined portfolio of finished goods across a global distribution network. This role ensures product availability, supports operational execution, and maintains accurate planning data within SAP and related systems. The position requires strong analytical skills, experience managing large SKU portfolios, and the ability to collaborate across supply chain, logistics, manufacturing, and customer service teams.
Key Responsibilities
Replenishment & Deployment
- Own the replenishment and deployment plan for assigned product lines within SAP.
- Execute STR–STO conversions and build transportation loads within the Transportation Management System (TMS).
- Monitor product movement and provide estimated arrival times and track‑and‑trace updates for in‑transit shipments.
- Balance product allocation between sales orders and STOs to prevent shortages.
Operational Execution
- Review daily exception reports in SAP/TMS and coordinate with distribution centers to ensure timely shipments.
- Monitor weekly and monthly production plan attainment to prevent supply interruptions.
- Support Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE) processes and contribute to On‑Time‑In‑Full (OTIF) performance.
- Communicate product availability updates and potential risks to supply chain and customer service teams.
Data Integrity & Reporting
- Maintain accuracy of master data in SAP to support replenishment planning.
- Actively review Power BI and SAP reports to identify inventory risks and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve issues.
- Perform data validation for SAP, TMS, and Kinaxis system releases and enhancements.
- Track opportunities, performance, and planning metrics using ERP and reporting tools.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with regional supply planners to align local supply plans with customer service and inventory targets.
- Partner with logistics, manufacturing, and materials management teams to ensure continuity of supply.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process enhancements across the planning function.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Management, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in supply chain planning, including demand, supply, deployment, logistics, manufacturing, or materials management.
- Experience managing large and complex SKU portfolios (500 SKUs across multiple storage locations).
- Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Kinaxis; experience with ECC, APO, PAM, and TMS modules preferred.
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem‑solving abilities; Power BI experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence in a matrix environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, prioritize multiple tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with regulated or batch‑controlled products (e.g., FDA‑regulated environments).
- Demonstrated success implementing process improvements within supply chain operations.
- Experience supporting global distribution networks and multi‑site inventory strategies.
