Senior Trade Compliance Specialist - Export
Location: Waltham, MA (Hybrid)
Pay: $45/hour
We are seeking a skilled Senior Trade Compliance Specialist to support global export operations with a strong focus on EAR and ITAR regulations. This role is ideal for an experienced export classification professional who can assess, document, and defend compliance decisions in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform export classifications using EAR/CCL and ITAR/USML guidelines
- Determine Country of Origin and licensing requirements
- Conduct restricted party screening (RPS) and maintain compliance records
- Prepare and submit export licenses and EEI filings
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sourcing, and global teams
- Support audits and ensure accurate trade compliance documentation
- Maintain ERP data for export classifications and HTS codes
- Develop work instructions and compliance procedures
- Analyze data and generate KPIs and compliance reports
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 4 years of trade compliance or export control experience
- Strong knowledge of EAR, ITAR, CCL, USML, and U.S. trade regulations
- Experience with classification, licensing, and audit support
- Advanced Excel skills and ERP system experience (NetSuite preferred)
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
