Advantage Technical is placing an R&D Technician with a leading medical device manufacturer in Valencia, CA. If you're a hands-on builder with prototyping experience and a knack for creative problem-solving in a regulated environment, we want to talk.
What You'll Do
- Develop concepts and construct prototypes and products from engineering instructions
- Document prototypes and fixtures using basic mechanical drawings or SolidWorks CAD
- Organize, coordinate, and execute prototype builds and testing
- Propose creative solutions and contribute to design and process concepts
- Support project teams in establishing specifications and quality standards
- Source supplies and services through internal resources and qualified external vendors
- Communicate project status to cross-functional teams
- Maintain compliance with all quality system requirements
What You Bring
- AA degree or equivalent experience in a related discipline plus 3 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on assembly experience with cables and fixtures
- Electrical capabilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as a team resource
- SolidWorks experience preferred
- Ability to read schematics preferred
Additional Requirements:
- Must be local or within commutable distance to Valencia, CA.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future.
