What are the responsibilities and job description for the QC/QA Laboratory Technician position at Advantage Technical?
Pay Rate: $26.00/hour
Schedule: 12-Hour Rotating Shift
- Collect and analyze quality control samples on a routine schedule
- Perform chemical, physical, and composite testing using laboratory equipment
- Document and maintain accurate laboratory records
- Communicate testing results and analysis progress to production personnel
- Assist with customer sample preparation and shipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Troubleshoot laboratory and process-related issues as needed
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
- High school diploma or GED required
- Associate degree or coursework in a science-related field preferred
- At least 6 months of laboratory, manufacturing, or production experience preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to perform basic math calculations and interpret work instructions
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in an industrial environment
- Respirator use required
