What are the responsibilities and job description for the Process Operator position at Advantage Technical?
- Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Inspect materials and products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Record production data and maintain accurate batch records and reporting documentation.
- Verify materials are being used correctly based on production schedules and work orders.
- Label and track products throughout the manufacturing process.
- Communicate production status, issues, and process deviations to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to quality, safety, and productivity.
- Minimum 2 years of manufacturing, production, machine operation, or process operator experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Basic math skills, including calculations involving weights and volumes.
- Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assist in equipment setup, maintenance, and assembly.
- Forklift experience required; experience with electric hoists or cranes is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail, teamwork, reliability, and commitment to workplace safety.
- Technical trade school training or an Associate degree is preferred.
