Job Location: Maple Grove, MN
Shift: 1st Shift (8:00am – 5:00pm) Overtime
Hourly Rate: Up to $24.19hr depending on experience.
Job Summary:
- Come join our team! We currently have exciting possible Temp-to-Perm opportunities for Material Handlers with 3 years of experience with Forklift and High-Reach training/certifications to work for a Major Defense Contractor.
- Opens containers using hand tools: counts, weighs, and samples materials and uses computer systems for tracking, logging, verifying, and recording information.
- Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays by hand.
- Complete physical inventory counts by manually counting or using weigh scale.
- Prior Forklift and High-Reach truck trained/certified
- Minimum of three years of experience in inventory management.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to run various types of propane and/or electric-powered forklifts.
- Read and understand shipping documents.
- Being able to operate a handheld scanner quickly and accurately to find items.
- Inventory control experience.
- Computer and typing skills, including Microsoft Outlook, Suite, and other related software.
- Data entry skills.
- Dealing with complexity in instructions, paperwork, and other details.
- Advanced math skills.
- Being able to lift weights from 40lbs.
- Strong English oral and written communication skills.
- Schedule flexibility to work on weekends, holidays, early mornings, or evenings.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Must be U.S. Citizen - "Must be able to meet ITAR requirements, including US citizenship to be considered for this role.
