Maintenance Area Supervisor
Location: Kokomo, IN
Pay Rate: $37.24/hour
Lead a Skilled Maintenance Team in a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment
Are you an experienced maintenance leader with a background in industrial automation and manufacturing? We're seeking a Maintenance Area Supervisor to oversee skilled trades personnel, drive equipment reliability, improve production performance, and support continuous improvement initiatives in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities

Supervise and support skilled trades and maintenance personnel

Coordinate preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities

Improve equipment reliability, uptime, and production efficiency

Monitor and influence key maintenance performance metrics

Troubleshoot equipment downtime and production-related issues

Lead continuous improvement and waste reduction initiatives

Support lean manufacturing, equipment optimization, and process improvements

Coach and mentor maintenance team members on problem-solving and best practices

Collaborate with plant leadership to achieve operational goals
Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Minimum 3 years of industrial automation and project management experience

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experience leading teams in a manufacturing environment

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

Ability to work any shift and overtime as needed
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field

Experience in union manufacturing environments

Knowledge of robotics, controls, conveyors, drives, welding systems, sensors, and vision systems
