What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Service Technician position at Advantage Technical?
- Hands-on experience with wiring and use of hand tools.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in any of the required disciplines.
- 2 years of experience executing test plans for technical systems.
- Experience with the integration of software and hardware in an automation environment including component installation and wiring termination.
- Experience with software tools for diagnosing and configuring PLCs, controllers, sensors, and embedded devices.
- Experience with soldering (certification beneficial).
- Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, and hardware support. Familiarity with Linux-based systems beneficial.
- Ability to acquire a passport for travel, if needed.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Curious, problem-solving mindset with the ability to think critically and anticipate issues.
