What You'll Do
- Set up and operate CNC and manual milling and turning machines.
- Edit, troubleshoot, and optimize CNC programs, including G-Code and M-Code programming.
- Machine components to blueprint specifications and tight tolerances.
- Perform milling, turning, drilling, threading, tapping, reaming, facing, deburring, and assembly operations.
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, and indicators.
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a safe, organized workspace.
- Ensure product quality, accuracy, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; trade school training preferred.
- 10 years of CNC and manual machining experience.
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and technical drawings.
- Advanced understanding of machining practices, shop mathematics, tooling, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience maintaining precise tolerances and solving machining challenges with minimal supervision.
- Basic computer skills and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely work around industrial machinery.
