Property managers are responsible for the overall financial and operational management of residential, commercial, and industrial properties. Property managers aim to minimize costs while keeping tenants satisfied. They are tasked with addressing tenant concerns, collecting rent, dealing with maintenance, and managing the budget.

Responsibilities
- Determine the rent price: An ideal rent price is not only affordable for tenants but should also be profitable for the landlord.
- Prepare vacant units: Know what is needed to prepare a rental property up to standard for the next tenants to move in
- Advertise rental vacancies
- Screen and approve tenants: A good property manager will do thorough checks before approving an application. Also, since they are well-versed with laws related to rentals, they can filter out applicants who are not qualified.
- Prepare and enforce a lease agreement: Sets lease terms that protect the property and the owner’s interests.
- Handle tenant complaints and issues
- Collect and adjust the rent
- Carry out property maintenance and repairs
- Supervise on-site employees
- Take care of the rental property: When a property sits vacant, a property management company has to ensure that it is well-protected and taken care of.
- Handle evictions and process move-outs: If it comes to it, a manager will be responsible for evicting difficult tenants, and When a tenant is planning to move out, the property manager has to inspect the rental unit.
- Ensures that the property is legally compliant: Ensure that all property-related processes comply with local, state, federal, health, safety, and housing laws.
- Keeps records and creates regular reports
Other Skills and Requirements
- MUST HAVE REAL ESTATE LICENSE
- 3-5 years Property Management Experience
- Must be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Negotiation
- Well versed in computer skills (Including Microsoft, PowerPoint, go
- Financial understanding (able to maintain and analyze budgets, P&L, accounts receivable/accounts payable)
- General understanding of preventive and ongoing maintenance
- Familiar with federal, state, and local fair housing and landlord/tenant laws
- Professionalism
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
