Here at the Prairie Ridge buildings, mealtimes are the absolute best part of our residents' day. We are looking for an energetic, warm-hearted Dietary Aide to become the friendly face of our dining room.

A Day in the Life (What You’ll Actually Do):

As a Dietary Aide at Prairie Ridge, you are the host, the server, and the day-maker all rolled into one. Your daily adventures will include:

• Setting the Stage: Prepare the dining room for meals, ensuring tables are set beautifully and everything is ready for our residents.
• Serve with a Smile: Deliver meals and drinks to our residents, taking the time to chat, pour their favorite coffee, and make sure they have everything they need.
• Be the Kitchen Sidekick: Assist our awesome Cooks with basic food prep, portioning snacks, and organizing supplies.
• Keep Things Sparkling: Clear tables, wash dishes, and help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary kitchen and dining area.
• Create Joy: Bring your positive energy to the dining room! A simple conversation about a resident's day can be the highlight of their week.

Who We’re Looking For:

You don’t need years of food service experience to be amazing at this job. If you have the right attitude, we will train you!

• The Vibe Check: You are bubbly, patient, and love making people feel special. You understand that serving a meal is really about serving comfort.
• The Experience: No experience? No problem! This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in healthcare or culinary arts, or anyone who just loves helping others.
• The Basics: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Must be a team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed.
• The Logistics: Reliable, punctual, and able to pass a background check. (Because our residents deserve the best!)
• The Muscle: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 25-30 lbs during your shift.
