We’re known for our personal service, quick decisions, and long-term customer relationships.
Position Summary:
We are seeking a high-performing Senior Credit Analyst to join our on-site team. This role is ideal for an experienced credit professional who thrives in a faster-paced environment than a traditional bank. You'll underwrite and structure small-ticket business loans, help optimize our credit process and serve as a resource to both junior analysts and the sales team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and underwrite commercial loan applications ranging from $10,000 to $250,000
- Work in a high-volume environment — review ~250 applications per month and help fund ~120–150 loans monthly
- Review, structure, and approve complex or high-exposure transactions; understand how and when to apply exceptions to standard credit guidelines
- Assist in designing and improving credit scoring models and automated underwriting processes
- Regularly update and refine Ideal Customer Profiles on a semi-annual or quarterly basis to reflect current portfolio performance and risk appetite
- Serve as a mentor and technical resource for Credit Analysts, offering guidance on complex deals and best practices
- Collaborate with Account Managers and Sales to clarify credit policy, answer deal-specific questions, and align expectations
- Make independent decisions within delegated authority and elevate higher-risk loans to the VP of Credit and Finance as needed
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in our internal loan origination and credit systems
- Support reporting and analysis efforts to track credit trends and performance
Ideal Qualifications:
- 5–10 years of commercial lending/credit experience (preferably with a bank or equipment finance company)
- Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, credit reports, and risk-based pricing
- Comfortable with high-volume, quick-turnaround decisioning—this is a faster pace than a typical bank underwriting department
- Experience with UCC filings, secured business lending, and small business borrowers
- Strong communication skills with ability to explain decisions and credit policy to internal teams
- Collaborative mindset and proven mentoring skills
- Familiarity with credit scoring systems, underwriting automation tools, and portfolio management a plus
Compensation:
Base Salary Range:
- $80,000 – $95,000, depending on experience and qualifications
Comprehensive Benefits Include:
- 401(k) with employer match
- Profit Sharing Plan
- Health Insurance (medical, dental, vision)
- Life and Disability Insurance
- Paid Vacation and Holidays
- Stable, long-tenured team with opportunities for professional growth
