Role Overview
Advantage Capital is seeking motivated, confident, and articulate individuals with 0–4 years of post-undergraduate experience. Candidates are expected to have outstanding written and verbal communication skills and a strong record of leadership.
This role begins with a primary focus on sourcing new investment opportunities—identifying and building relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, and operators across a broad range of industries. Over time, Analysts will also gain exposure to financial analysis, due diligence, and deal execution, providing a well-rounded private equity experience.

- Perform outreach for investment sourcing and build relationships with founders, entrepreneurs, and operators of companies in a broad range of industries.
- Evaluate debt and equity investment opportunities.
- Complete financial analysis and modeling, industry research, and general due diligence on potential investments.
- Assist in the negotiation and structuring of debt and equity transactions.
- Draft and present investment memos detailing transactions, companies and industries.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field (or estimated graduation date spring/summer 2026)
- 0-4 years of relevant work experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Demonstrates a track record of high achievement in demanding academic settings.
- A self-starter who is eager to grab responsibility and assignments.
- Can work autonomously, be proactive, multi-task, prioritize, communicate, and function on a small team in a collegial environment.
- Has a strong work ethic, integrity, and ability to take direction.
