River City Therapy Center is our facility in Red Wing, MN, which is credentialed as an Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI) agency. We offer services to individuals 1.5 through 21 years old with autism and related disabilities, as well as to youth on probation in our Youth Rehabilitative Program. ABS’ core principles are EPIC. Job Summary
The Clinical Director is a leadership role responsible for overseeing the clinical operations of EIDBI services at River City Therapy Center. This position ensures high-quality, ethical, and effective care through supervision, training, and strategic oversight of clinical staff and programming. The Clinical Director serves as a secondary Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) to support supervision ratios and maintain compliance with EIDBI standards.This role is ideal for a seasoned BCBA, LPCC, or LICSW with strong leadership skills, a passion for progressive behavioral healthcare practices, and a commitment to trauma-informed, person-centered care.
ResponsibilitiesClinical Oversight & Supervision
- Ensure the 1:16 supervision ratio of clinical to direct service hours is maintained.
- Serve as a secondary QSP to support supervision requirements.
- Supervise Clinical Supervisors and Program Supervisors, including performance feedback and competency checks.
- Ensure observation and direction is occurring for all clients monthly.
- Review and provide feedback on all treatment plans before submission.
- Monitor treatment fidelity and ensure adequate supervision for all team members.
- Lead weekly clinical review meetings and provide insight on programming, concerns, and supports.
Program Implementation & Compliance
- Oversee organization-wide program implementation and ensure adherence to EIDBI policies.
- Monitor effectiveness of clinical operations and recommend improvements.
- Ensure accurate and timely billing practices.
- Track and submit authorization requests for services.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, safety protocols, and ethical standards.
- Lead crisis response efforts and support critical incident management.
Training & Development
- Conduct training and competency checks for Clinical Supervisors and other supervisory staff.
- Facilitate ethics and professionalism discussions.
- Support recruitment efforts and onboarding of clinical staff.
- Provide ongoing education and support for treatment fidelity and professional growth.
Data & Documentation
- Establish and maintain systems for data measurement, collection, and analysis.
- Review clinical documentation including case notes and progress reports.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure data-driven, behavioral, and research-informed decision-making.
Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead team meetings and foster a collaborative clinical culture.
- Provide feedback to administrative team members on effective healthcare practices.
- Collaborate with caregivers, providers, and external professionals to ensure continuity of care.

Qualifications
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) & Licensed Behavior Analyst in Minnesota
OR
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
OR
- Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
AND
- Qualified Supervising Professional (QSP) credentialed for EIDBI services
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in ABA or developmental/behavioral services
- Strong understanding of EIDBI standards and clinical documentation or willingness to learn
- Must pass DHS and criminal background checks
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Schedule
Operating hours are 7:45am to 4:15pm.

Salary The starting payrate will be within the $95,000 to $110,000 range, based on experience and education.
