This is a full-time, on-site role for a Payroll Benefits Coordinator at AdvanceTEC’s facility in Chesterfield, VA. The Payroll Benefits Coordinator will oversee payroll processes, ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations, administer employee benefits programs, and maintain records accurately. The role requires frequent interaction with employees to address payroll and benefit-related inquiries and collaborate with different departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Proficiency in payroll processing and understanding of payroll systems and tax regulations
- Experience administering employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and compliance requirements
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills for maintaining accurate records and documentation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for addressing employee inquiries and coordinating with internal teams
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including payroll platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred
- Experience working in the construction or technical industries is a plus
