Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Director of Residential Services to oversee the daily operations of five group homes we support. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in home care or assisted living environments and possess excellent leadership skills. As the Director of Residential Services, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care, coordinating staff activities, and maintaining compliance with HCBS regulations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support staff and supervisors in providing quality care to members, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on members' needs.
- Coordinate with funding sources to ensure member's needs are met.
- Ensure compliance with State and CARF standards.
- Train and mentor supervisors and staff on best practices in member supports.
- Coordinate with management team to ensure strategic goals are met.
- Facilitate communication between residents, families, and healthcare providers to ensure coordinated care.
Experience
- College degree in a related field, or five years experience in ID waiver or habilitation.
- Previous supervisory experience.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team are necessary for success in this role.
- A compassionate approach to care with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for members is highly valued.
