JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) to join our team, providing essential care to wound care patients across Texas and Arkansas. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in comprehensive patient assessments, following wound care protocols, and delivering high-quality clinical care. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, the ability to collaborate with healthcare providers, and a commitment to ensuring patient comfort and safety during in-home wound care visits. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Perform comprehensive wound assessments, documenting size, depth, stage, and characteristics.
· Collaborate with the healthcare team to create individualized wound care plans.
· Monitor patient progress, recognizing signs of infection or complications, and take appropriate action.
· Document patient care, assessments, treatments, and progress in EMR or required systems.
· Educate patients and families on proper wound care, hygiene, and injury/infection prevention.
· Coordinate and update care plans with physicians, and other healthcare providers.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Valid and current RN license in Texas and Arkansas.
· Valid driver’s license.
· Experience with maintaining up-to-date patient charts, tracking progress, and ensuring compliance with company standards and healthcare regulations.
· Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, positioning, and standing for extended periods.
· Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
· Proficient in performing physical examinations and assessing patient conditions.
· Ability to assess situations for safety and ensure a secure environment for both patients and staff.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills for documentation and teamwork.
· Knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and safety standards.
· Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care.

Pay: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
