Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sprinkler Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing fire sprinkler systems across various commercial sites.
Duties
- Inspect, and repair fire sprinkler systems in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation tasks
- Use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading machines, calipers, and tube bending equipment to complete installations
- Conduct pipe fitting, soldering, rigging, and calibration of sprinkler components
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used
- Collaborate with project managers and other trades to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols on construction sites or manufacturing facilities
Experience
- Ohio Fire Sprinkler License
- Familiarity with blueprint reading, schematics, ASME codes & standards, and mechanical knowledge
- Experience working with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and pipe threading machinery
- Knowledge of construction site safety practices and maintenance procedures
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments such as manufacturing plants or construction sites
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to piping and system layout
- Prior experience with pipeline assembly or maintenance is a plus
