Overview
We are seeking a Life Safety Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire sprinkler systems in various settings. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical systems and the ability to work with both hand and power tools. The technician will ensure that all systems are compliant with safety regulations and operational standards.
Duties
- Install fire sprinkler systems according to blueprints and specifications.
- Conduct regular maintenance checks and repairs on existing fire sprinkler systems.
- Assemble and fit various components of fire sprinkler systems using hand tools and power tools.
- Troubleshoot issues related to fire sprinkler systems and provide effective solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, including inspections and repairs.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while on the job site.
Experience
- Must be interested in learning and working hard to provide quality work and service.
- Professional and commitment to service quality.
- Learn material and pass (with company assistance) Ohio fire sprinkler licensing.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using both hand tools and power tools.
- Basic math skills for measuring, cutting, and assembling components accurately.
- Previous service experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- A commitment to safety standards and practices in all aspects of work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.38 - $30.16 per hour
