We are seeking a highly driven and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and optimize the day-to-day operations of AVA from our Kansas City headquarters.

As COO, you will play a critical role in executing the company’s strategic vision, scaling internal operations, and ensuring organizational efficiency across all departments. You will work closely with the founder and leadership team to drive performance, improve systems, and position AVA for long-term growth and financial sustainability.

This role is ideal for a strategic operator who thrives in a fast-paced startup environment and has a proven ability to build, scale, and optimize business operations.

• Equity: Meaningful founding-stage equity stake (typically 2%–6%, based on experience and contribution)
• Vesting Schedule: Standard 4-year vesting with a 1-year cliff
• Salary: Competitive market-rate salary activated upon successful close of seed funding round

• Oversee daily business operations to ensure alignment with company goals

Strategic Execution

• Proven experience in Operations Management and Business Planning

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, or related field
