Job Title – Position Description: Operating Room Registered Nurse

Reports to: Manager, ASC

MISSION

The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for providing competent and compassionate care to every patient and family member in the Clinic and Ambulatory Surgery Center through assessing and monitoring the care of patients. The Operating RoomRegistered Nurse effectively coordinates the care of patients in accordance to physician orders and established procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS

Basic Qualifications:

Education: OR

• Associate Degree in Nursing

Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience: OR

• Experience in one of the following areas:
  1. One year - Operating Room
  2. One year - Emergency Room
  3. One year - ICU/Critical care
  4. One year - Labor & Delivery

Credentials/Licensures: OR

• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Georgia OR
• Current Compact Registered Nurse Licensure to practice in the state of Georgia
• Current BLS certification 
• Current ACLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Education: OR

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

 Previous, Job Relevant Work Experience: OR

• 1 years of experience with Robotic procedures preferred (Alpharetta location only)
