Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Sales Director to lead our sales. This leadership role reports directly to the CEO and is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-impact sales strategies, and building a cohesive, high-performing sales department. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with exceptional communication skills who can bridge the gap between sales, marketing, and other internal departments to achieve company objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans and strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share goals
- Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities
- Establish short-term and long-term sales forecasts and performance metrics
- Build, mentor, and lead a cohesive sales department that collaborates effectively with all other company departments
- Work closely with marketing to identify and develop new sales channels
- Partner with other teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Align sales initiatives with overall company goals and messaging
- Develop and manage strategic sales projects that expand market presence
- Identify and cultivate new revenue streams and partnership opportunities
- Evaluate and implement sales tools, technologies, and processes to improve efficiency
- Oversee the end-to-end sales process, guiding opportunities from lead identification through successful closure
- Maintain expert-level command of product portfolios, pricing structures, and competitive market positioning to inform strategic decision-making
- Cultivate and sustain trusted, long-term partnerships with key customers
Reporting & Analysis
- Provide regular sales reports, insights, and recommendations to the CEO and leadership team
- Monitor sales performance against targets and adjust strategies as needed
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5 years of progressive sales leadership experience, preferably in medical devices, healthcare technology, or ultrasound/imaging equipment
- Proven track record of achieving revenue goals and building successful sales teams
