Assembly & Test Technician II (2nd Shift)

Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Join a leading team in the Commercial Aircraft Group as an Assembly & Test (A&T) Technician. This temp-to-hire position offers a path to permanent employment after 6 months, a competitive base rate.
What You’ll Do:
- Perform mechanical assembly and test operations using specialized tools, gauges, fixtures, and electronic/hydraulic/pneumatic test equipment.
- Work from detailed work instructions, technical drawings, and parts lists.
- Document performance results and observations accurately.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose test failures, and recommend rework solutions.
- Support daily administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
What You’ll Need:
- 3 years of related experience in assembly, testing, or mechanical/technical environments.
- Background in automotive or aerospace industries preferred.
- Proficiency with hand tools and the ability to work from various technical documents.
- Intermediate computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems.
- Ability to train across different shifts as required.
- High School diploma or GED preferred (must be able to understand technical documentation and perform basic math).
- Must meet FAA Safety Sensitive Work (SSW) requirements, including participation in a FAA Drug & Alcohol Program.
Schedule & Pay:
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM (Primary schedule)
- May train on 1st Shift (6:00 AM – 2:30 PM) or 3rd Shift (10:30 PM – 6:00 AM) depending on business needs
- 10% shift differential applies to 2nd and 3rd shifts
