Seeking Accounting Professional / Accounting Specialist
***Bachelor's Degree required with 2 years’ experience***
Defense client in Indianapolis, IN
Remote /Hybrid Schedule : Mon, Tues & Wed Remote, then ONSITE Thursday & Friday in Office
Hours: 8am-5pm Monday-Friday
6 months CONTRACT with possible temp to perm
US Citizen required**
PASS Drug Test & Background Check
Target Pay rate is $30-33/per hour

Key Responsibilities: Accounting Specialist
- Complete tasks to provide accounting details\documents for AP, AR, GL or cash items to the Defense finance teams/buyer as requested.
- Complete coordination efforts on data required by M&A group.
- Complete other ad hoc requirements such as completing reconciliations, reviewing journal entries etc. as laid out by management.
Required: Accounting Specialist
Strong Excel skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting / Finance, or related field (required)and 2 years of Accounting experience***
- Knowledge of general accounting such as accounting entries, reconciliations and analysis.
Preferred: Accounting Specialist
SAP experience is preferred
- Demonstration of effective communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in an environment with frequent interruptions, high volume of activities and multiple demands and deadlines.
