Advanced Systems Design is seeking a Deputy Project Manager (Comm/IT) for our client.
This is a fully onsite opportunity to work alongside the federal government.
Job Overview:
The Deputy Project Manager oversees the day-to-day technical workflows for Quality Assurance, AV, and Telecom technicians, and provides oversight for the site's Records Management function. They will also ensure AV/Telecom technicians are adhering to Government/Corporate processes and report directly to the Project Manager (PM).
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Team Supervision: Assign/Coordinate/Manage daily tasks for AV and Telecom technicians.
- Infrastructure Execution: Supervise basic cabling tasks (fiber/copper projects, labeling, etc.). Ensure teams follow all applicable Government and corporate standards and maintain professional decorum while interfacing with Government and contractors.
- Reporting & Compliance: Assist in preparing monthly status reports for the PM regarding IT tickets, status updates, scheduling, and records management progress.
Required Qualifications:
- 10 years of relevant work experience; 5 years in a project management role.
- Strong organizational skills to provide technical oversight and compliance.
- Basic hands-on knowledge of AV/Telecom operations.
- Either currently have an active Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a government environment
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Sec CE Certification
- BICSI Certification
