The Material Handler at Advanced Sterilization Products is responsible for receiving, putting away, replenishing manufacturing areas KANBAN system, overall material flow, control & segregation of incoming raw materials, non inventory items, finished goods inventory. Pack and ship all internal and external finish goods products to different distribution centers. Perform ERP SAP system transactions, operate three type of forklifts (standup and sit down units).

Responsibilities
Under general direction and in accordance with all applicable government laws, regulations and ASP policies, procedures and guidelines, this position:
- Load and unload materials to or from pallets, trays, racks, conveyors, machines, or trucks.
- Perform receiving inspection of incoming receipts according to established processes and procedures.
- Performs materials movements to various inventory and bin locations. Assist with the unpacking of raw materials.
- Ensures materials are clearly segregated and stored to avoid mix ups, ensure accurate inventory, and prevent product from being commingled, damaged or contaminated.
- Ensures compliance with methods of storage, identification, stock location, temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, loading capacities, and required space.
- Ensures that stock documentation matches material identifiers.
- Pulls, packs, and ships all types of scheduled customer orders in accordance with established shipping methods, drawings and procedures.
- Performs kitting activities as required and in compliance with established processes and procedures.
- Proactively identifies potential issues and communicates to the immediate team leader and/or supervisor for resolution.
- Perform in process manufacturing replenishments activities and pull orders from suppliers in accordance with established processes and procedures. Conducts applicable system transactions accurately and on a timely manner.
- Performs accurate and timely inventory transactions using computer or RF equipment.
- Completes daily inventory cycle counts.
- Effectively communicates with other internal business partners (ex: Customer Service, Manufacturing, Finance, Supply Chain, Quality and EHS) related to work assignments.
- Effectively navigates through the warehouse management system for accurate and timely execution of receiving and kitting activities.
- Generate required documentation for received parts.
- Generate reports for daily task accomplishments.
- List each essential duty that are the key tasks and responsibilities of the specific job and typically represent where the individual will spend most their time, as follows:
- Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
- Performs other duties assigned as needed
- Ability to use Radio Frequency (RF) technology and various types of material handling equipment.
- Forklift certifiable;

- Ability to work with scales to weight shipping containers as needed.
- Computer Skills: Software proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, SAP, WMS or equivalent programs.
