Position Description
As Warehouse Material Handler, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:
- Perform material handling operations in warehouse and non-clean room environments
- Count, pick and process various transfer orders
- Distribute raw materials and semi-finished goods to various areas of Applied Medical
- Keep parts segregated by part number and lot number for traceability
- Contribute to a working environment that encourages suggestions for improvement and creates a cohesive team atmosphere
- Cycle count product
- Perform bin audits as required by your Team Leader
Position Requirements
This position requires the following skills and attributes:
- Ability to work 1st shift at the Rancho Santa Margarita Facility
- Experience with warehouse operations in a manufacturing company
- Complete forklift certification within 3 months of working in the warehouse environment
- Ability to stand and work for several hours at a time
- Knowledge of SAP
- Self-motivation
- Ability to work with little supervision
- Read, write and speak English
- Understand and follow Applied Medical's Quality Systems
- Understand and comply with safety rules and company policies
- 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse environment is a plus
