Advanced Security Services is hiring for a TEMPORARY 3rd Shift position.
This position goes for approximately 3 months.
Shelter Care Staff personnel, in Haverhill, MA
Schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 11pm-7:30am = 34 hours / week
Shelter Care Staff – Job Duties (Homeless Shelter)
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Shelter Care Staff at a Family homeless shelter. The ideal candidate will help maintain a safe and respectful environment for all guests and staff.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Monitor shelter guests to ensure a safe and orderly environment
- Enforce shelter rules and policies
- Conduct routine rounds throughout the site to ensure safety and identify any issues
- Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to deter unauthorized activity
- Maintain detailed logs and incident reports as needed
- Serve as a visible presence and point of contact for guests requiring assistance
- Maintain professional and respectful communication with all individuals on site
- Light Cleaning Duties
Qualifications:
- Must be reliable, punctual, and dependable
- Strong observation and communication skills
- No prior experience necessary – paid training will be provided
- Must be 21 and be able to pass a MA CORI Background check
