At Advance Air Systems, the HVAC Sales Estimator plays a key role in driving growth by turning opportunities into winning projects. This role goes beyond estimating — it’s about partnering with customers, understanding their challenges, and delivering smart, cost‑effective HVAC solutions that make a real impact.
You’ll combine technical estimating expertise with a consultative sales approach, working closely with customers, vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams to develop accurate, competitive proposals. Key Responsibilities
Prepare accurate, professional HVAC estimates and bid proposals with strong attention to detail Review project plans, specifications, and site conditions to develop cost‑effective HVAC solutions Work directly with customers to understand project needs and provide consultative recommendations Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and HVAC subcontractors Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions as needed Conduct site walks and participate in sales presentations when required Maintain estimating logs, pricing data, and unit costs for all projects Collaborate with internal teams to align estimates with production and installation requirements Present weekly internal sales and estimating activity reports Achieve quarterly goals for bids submitted and projects awarded Actively participate in networking and business development activities Support and mentor newer estimators and sales team members
