Key Responsibilities
- Review and follow up on leads to develop quotes and proposals and prepare for client meetings or closings.
- Maintain regular communication with existing customers.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the Company’s roofing, solar, and HVAC products/services.
- Demonstrate technical features and advantages of Company offerings and anticipate client needs, questions, and objections.
- Advise customers on enhancements and upsell opportunities to increase project value.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with Project Managers to support project execution and ensure timely, successful delivery of sold services.
- Communicate timeline or budget changes to clients and secure necessary approvals.
- Seek expansion opportunities with existing clients.
- Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
- Communicate progress of monthly/quarterly sales initiatives to internal stakeholders.
- Prepare account status reports for management.
- Collaborate across departments to stay updated on trends, pricing, and capabilities.
- Maintain accurate CRM data, updating proposal status through win, loss, or cancellation.
- Gather and organize account information, providing insight on opportunities and contract pricing.
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or similar preferred.
Experience
- 5 or more years of sales, marketing, or business development experience required.
- Previous roofing, construction, solar, energy, or hands‑on technical experience preferred.
- Proven B2B outbound sales and prospecting experience required.
Skills & Requirements
- Strong technical knowledge or aptitude in roofing, solar, and/or HVAC.
- Excellent selling, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
