What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Representative position at Advanced Physical Therapy?
Advanced Physical Therapy located in Terryville, CT is looking to hire a full time patient care representative. The Patient Care Representative works directly under the supervision of the site manager. Their primary role is to act as a advocate for the patient to ensure that the patient has the best experience possible while coming to physical therapy. This position is full time weekdays only.

Primary Responsibilities:
- scheduling patients
- sharing and explaining insurance benefit information with the patient
- surveying and tracking patients to identify successes and areas where a patient needs a little more support
- interacting with our team of physical therapists to ensure the best experience for our patients
- communicating daily with our the front desk coordinator to gather any necessary administrative updates for the patient
- sharing office highlights and success stories on our company social media sites
- identifying community events that may be a good opportunity for our team of physical therapists to share their talents outside of our office with the community
The ideal candidate for our Terryville office will be able to multitask and work well as part of a team. The person should be energetic and passionate about helping people in our physical therapy office and within our local community. Any interested candidates should reply with a resume ASAP.
