Advanced Physical Therapy (APT), Inc. is an outpatient orthopedic manual therapy clinic owned by former Institute of Physical Art Primary Instructor Timothy Wittenauer, PT, CFMT and located in Midlothian, VA (a suburb of Richmond, VA). Tim is also the Director of Sports Performance and Rehabilitation and the team physical therapist for the two time Stanley Cup championship NHL Florida Panthers. Our highly respected clinic has been serving the Richmond metropolitan community for over 25 years.

Responsibilities:
- Treat patients as delineated in the Guide to Physical Therapy Practice
- Follow plan of care set by the evaluating physical therapist, coordinate treatment, relay pertinent information, and communicate clearly with them
- Incorporate progressive exercise programs in patient care
- Apply manual therapy and modalities with patients as indicated by the therapist
- Instruct, encourage, and assist patients in performing assigned exercises, their treatment plan, injury prevention, ergonomics, and ways to promote health
- Maintain safe and clean environment and adhere to infection control protocols
- Manage time and schedule
- Complete required confidential documentation in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant educational program
- A valid VA physical therapist assistant license
- Experience working in an outpatient physical therapy setting
- Commitment to clinical protocols and compliance with all job requirements, such as respectful and timely treatment of patients, timely completion of all notes and paperwork, dedication to working well with our referral sources and with our amazing staff
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
