Job Overview
Location: Greensboro, NC
Pay: $18.50 - $23.00
Shifts: 1st - 6am - 2:30pm and 2nd - 3pm - 11:30pm Monday - Friday
Direct Hire Role
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by assembling, inspecting, and maintaining equipment to ensure efficient and high-quality production processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical aptitude, a commitment to safety, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Special requirements: Independently set up and operate moderately complex various manufacturing equipment that requires specialized skill or expertise.
- Ability to read and interpret blue prints
- Capable of proficiency on all types of equipment and setup of equipment used in department within 60 days of hire
- Proficient in all aspects of inspection gages for the area after training period end and ability to train other employees
- Maintain a safe workplace for self and fellow team members via compliance of safety policies and procedures
- Produce product in timely manner while following all Quality system requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication
- Forklift certification capable
- Proficient in all aspects of paperwork for the area within 30 days.
- Ability to train team members
- Ability to lead Lean events and high-performance teams as required; ability to train team on Lean methodology
- Troubleshoot problems as they arise; Strong problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work and thrive in Team environment.
- Must be able to work overtime when required including weekends.
- Other assignments as assigned by Management.
MINIMUM REQUIRMENTS:
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing environment
- Communication: For safety and quality, must be able to read, write & understand English
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Strong Math skills
- Converting fractions to decimals.
